I liked the consistency in the messiness everywhere, it made me feel 'at home.' Creepy sounds, things falling and flashing, all add to a feeling of uneasiness and being watched. All in all, well done and keep them coming!
very spooky game, the unexpected jumpscares and atmosphere makes this one of the best 8-bit horror games ive ever played! consider subscribing it helps a lot!
Hi, it's a good game, but here are my 5 cents... for me it would make more sense if the story begins with the car stalling in front of the house. Also, devs should not give so many tips about what is happening... give the player some slack to figure things out more. At last, on my computer, the player stops motion if a certain scary sound is playing... try to fix this please, it does not make sense. But you have got yourself a very nice base for a great game... congrats!
I will mention this be the second time I've nearly flung my mouse across the living room, the first being from another horror game. It was a fun experience wasn't expecting to be able to interact with certain things one being the monitor in the attic space.
Every original asset tells a story and is a chilling reminder that you are playing a horror game. The subtle sound effects add to the atmospheric setting as well.
Hello. I tried this game cause a friend recommanded it to me. I laughed maybe a bit more then I should have but not bad of a game. I certainly enjoyed myself. Anyone who wants to see the video I made about it. You can check it here.
Hahahah, i just burst out laughing when i heard the title song, it's from the same horror asset pack i'm using in my game, i couldn't believe the coincidence, it is a great song tho isn't it?
Great work on getting your first game out. It's a great achievement. This was a good horror experience. I love the lighting effect before heading to the basement, it really adds to the unsettling feeling of wandering the derelict house. My only minor gripe would be that you have to go to the door before being able to interact with the laptop. I think it would be good to have the ability to interact with it at first and if the player doesn't they can still be blocked until they do.
This was so much fun to edit for me. Your game was the perfect amount of spook during a thunder storm. The jump scares were great, and I loved the play style. Your game starts at 11:39
I Love these PS1 style horror games and the ambience and sound design of this one was GREAT! Still a shame me and the creepy boy couldn't be friends but HEY, we got both endings!
Just finished the game up and that was actually really good for how short it was. The silence in the game where it is just creaks and footsteps are really what makes the atmosphere. Here is my gameplay if you would like to check it out.

Don't be intimidated by the language, I'm just from Russia. I would like your game to be known in my country too! :3
