I'm a bit late, but I'm glad this game was recommended on itch.io and is still popular. I loved the atmosphere, and now I really want a full-length sequel!
I keep getting stuck on the ladder. When I walk up to it I can't move away from it unless I open the menu and close it. And I can't seem to climb it. Playing on steam deck.
Hi! I wish I could help you but I guess the game doesn't have any controller/joystick compability. And I sadly cannot update it since I've lost the project files.

Great little game, the suspense was very good, and it synergized well with the graphics style!
I also liked the good ending, it was a nice touch!
As was already pointed out, the final jumpscare was not the best, but still nice in my opinion.
