Great work on getting your first game out. It's a great achievement. This was a good horror experience. I love the lighting effect before heading to the basement, it really adds to the unsettling feeling of wandering the derelict house. My only minor gripe would be that you have to go to the door before being able to interact with the laptop. I think it would be good to have the ability to interact with it at first and if the player doesn't they can still be blocked until they do.
This was so much fun to edit for me. Your game was the perfect amount of spook during a thunder storm. The jump scares were great, and I loved the play style. Your game starts at 11:39
I Love these PS1 style horror games and the ambience and sound design of this one was GREAT! Still a shame me and the creepy boy couldn't be friends but HEY, we got both endings!

You guys have succeeded to make me being scared to the point where I had neck pain lol! I was so tense playing this. The backstory about the house was interesting to me because that topic is something that I watch a lot of videos about. The sound effects, PSX-style graphics, and story combined to make me so tense. I also like the fact that the crosshair turns red when you come across items that you can interact with. Love the good ending too! I put the link to this game in a Discord server that I'm in so that other creators can check it out!

Good short scary experience. I definitely think it's perfect for anyone looking for a quick scare to feel that rush of fear we all crave from horror games but in a small package. I'd love to see what can be done with this style if there was more time in the gameplay and story. Overall fun short horror experience!

Advantages:
1. The pacing and the spooks in the game were very exciting! It made me more and more paranoid as I progressed since I was expecintg jumpscares or scary creatures chasing me or something like that. So, the game managed to create a perfect ambiance for a horror experience.
2. The house didn't seem to be emty which is very nice. I loved attention to detail and interactable objects here and there. It was a exciting place to explore!
Disadvantages:
1. The ending, though, was very anticlimactic. It couldn't even be considered a jumpscare as neither the appearance nor the visuals were scary enough to make an excellent finishing point of an adventure.
2. Main character's house tho seems rather empty comparing to the ghost house. I think that the important lore part could be given on the phone right at the entrance of the house or it would be nice to pay more attention to the starting area. I mean, we don't even switch off the lights as we set on our ghost hunting adventure.
Overall:
I'd rate this little game 4/5 stars. But at the same time, I believe that this was a very good little horror game. I think that a couple of changes to the ending would easily make this project a 5 star horror on itch.
I support small developers and give them feedback to help them improve! This game's environments really had me on my toes. Wish the ending was better due to the badly timed jump scare. The tension was there just not the scare. Overall this was a decently made game.
This was REALLY GOOD! The atmosphere and the build up to the scares were really good the threat wasnt shown much until the end and the story came together really well! Heres my playthrough if you wanna see!
